The combination of fine dark chocolate and notes of heavy spices gives this whisky a unique taste. Well packed in an American cask, it undergoes years of storing and retention of full flavour. It ends up in a Spanish oak for a complex reaction with the dark atmosphere of a distillery warehouse. Old-Pultney-25-year-old gives dark chocolate and creamy vanilla taste on the palate. Also, It adds a bit of spice and comes thoroughly enriching for the body and soul. So here we now have a good substitute for Old-Pulteney-17 and 21-year-old.
Nose:
An intensely aromatic well rounded whisky that speaks of its time in cask. The sherry finish really show its influence with the dark chocolate but the American oak also comes through with lotPalate:
A peppery kick, layers of citrus and ripe tropical fruits, maybe mango and kiwi. A beautiful saltiness that reminds you of a coastal maltRegion+Flavour
